The USFL, the defunct spring football league from 1982-1985, playing three seasons. Heisman Trophy winners and NFL stars brought creditability to league along with coaches. The USFL also was breeding ground for future Hall of Famers, such as Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Reggie White, and more. This site opened up in summer of 1999. The purpose for this site is allow fans, coaches, and players to remember this great league which folded due to high player salaries and moving schedule to the fall which you can read more about in the history section.
