Proposed Leagues
Ever since the league folded, dozens of proposed leagues popped
up with better ideas and more money. Turns out only 4 leagues actually played
games. Only the World League of American Football lasted more than one season.
XFL, WLAF, SFL, and RFL all folded. The WLAF came back as NFL Europe. NBC, Ted
Turner, and former USFL executives were a part of majority of the leagues trying
to make a comeback. Here is a list of the leagues.
